Voting...

I voted for the first time yesterday. I was so excited especially since I was a couple months off from being able to vote in last years election. Anyway no one warned me about what the inside of the booth actually looks like. I had no idea what i was doing. I started reading the directions on the side, but all I got out of them was to turn the lever to the right so the curtain closes (which I figured out on my own). So my excited state soon turned into a panic... there were people on line waiting, and now I'd been standing there for a whole minute trying to figure everything out. I pictured some old man yelling at me to hurry up, which only wasted more time. Eventually I just starting pushing buttons, turned the lever to the left, and quickly walked out. The whole way home my friend made fun of me, saying I elected a dictator. Now I know why I wasn't meant to vote in the 08 election.

Klaus goes shopping.

My friend, Ally, works at Lifethyme Natural Market, a health food store on 6th Avenue between 8th and 9th. Yesterday she rung up actor Willem Dafoe. When she told me I couldn't help picture Klaus Daimler, Dafoe's character in one of my favorite movies, Life Aquatic, shopping around with a Zissou hat on.

Do you love Life Aquatic too? Well of course you do, who doesn't love a wes anderson dry comedy!

What is an enenenigma???

Like I said before I've been a member on Deviant art for over three years. I got stuck with the username enenenigma. I made my account around the same time Myspace was at its high, so i was used to Myspace. I was especially used to the fact that Myspace enabled people to change their display name whenever they want. Thinking deviant art was the same, I made mine "enenenigma," after an inside joke with me and my friend, Tommy Tait (I love you tommy). Anyway a week went by and I was like, "I'm over this username...," later realizing that you, in fact, cannot change your display name... Two years and 51 weeks later, here I am, enenenigma. Most of the drawings are very old, and I hope to produce some newer ones soon.

The second drawing is of J.R.R. Tolkien that drew a year and a half ago, and the first drawing is of a photo I found in my environmental science class. I used these two pieces in my AP Art portfolio during highschool.

If I was a girl...

If I was a girl (and had money), I would buy every kate spade bag available...but I'm not. I've had bad days brightened just by seeing someone with a kate spade bag. They are adorable and the colors are amazing. But Kate's company makes more than bags. Through her website you can find shoes, clothing, jewelry, fragrances and more! http://www.katespade.com/home/index.jsp

My favorite bag is this one. Maybe one day Kate will think about making guys bags and then I can spend all the money (that i don't have) on them! = ]

Kate's Hand in Hand program employs women from war-torn countries to help them rebuild there lives. Go check out the collection of handmade "cold-weather wares"! "Sponsor a woman working to rebuild her life. Now through November 17th, When you spend $200 or more, We'll fnd the $30 enrollment fee for an annual sponsorship, after your qualifying purchase, we'll send an email with additional details by december 1st"

Read Deborah Lloyd's (Kate's Creative Director) day by day, hour by hour detailed story of her trip to Bosnia! http://www.katespade.info/?section=deborah

Love Glee?

I love Glee. Glee, starring Matthew Morrison, Jayma Mays, and my favorite, Jane Lynch, is amazing. I became hooked just by listening in when my sister played the episodes on Hulu, (where you can watch all the episodes). http://www.hulu.com/glee. Selected from actors who can dance and sing, the characters are just as fun to listen to as they are to watch. Subscribe to the #1 Glee channel on youtube to hear songs like "Defying Gravity", "Take a Bow", and "Don't Stop Believin." http://www.youtube.com/user/LeelooDoyle#p/ .
Watch Glee every wednesday at 9/8c.

julepe's Artwork

Deviant Art, a website where anyone can upload artwork such as photographs, paintings, and even journals. I am on Deviant Art, have been for more than two years. Two years of Deviant Art means you see a lot of amazing work done by other members. One of my favorite Artists on the site is a man from Spain, known as julepe. His technique and style create real interesting works of art.
Here are some of my favorite pieces done by him.

Buy a print from julepe or just drop in and tell him how amazing he is!

HELLO!

The most awkward thing about starting to blog and vlog is, "how do I introduce myself?" I could just say, Hello my name is Joseph Sgueglia...but is that too boring, overdone, lame? Or i could go crazy, "YO BLOGGERS! I'M JAMBALENA!" ...No.
So how do you introduce yourself? There is so much to every human being, how do you begin to explain who you are?
Can we just skip the introduction and begin with a topic? Yes okay, and then through reading maybe you'll get to know who I am. = ]
